Abstract

The choreography of websites is based in a grammar of images. Of course, rules of grammar can and are often broken, but having a sense of the grammar of images and use of color that website designers employ is central to understanding visualization as part of marketization of higher education. This chapter will examine the Times Higher Education World University Rankings (THEWUR) website as a corporate media product and as a case study of the 2011–20121 (214) and the 2014–2015 rankings.
