Abstract

The aim of this paper is to investigate positive and negative aspects of the wholesale market system using the case study of Antalya's fresh vegetable and fruit crops wholesale market. In addition to an evaluation of the present legislation, this study proposes solutions to the problems faced by the wholesalers and growers. Finally, an evaluation of the marketing system has been attempted using data obtained from a research survey conducted among producers and brokers. © 2008 Taylor & Francis Group, LLC.
