Abstract

This is a protocol for a Cochrane Review (Intervention). The objectives are as follows: To assess the effects of occlusal interventions in people diagnosed with TMD, compared to other interventions or no treatment, for reduction in joint pain, muscle pain at rest and during mastication, quality of life, and discomfort.
