Abstract

Voices in technical communication have frequently called for programs to increase their focus on User Experience (UX). However, TPC instructors in those programs sometimes have little preparation in how to teach UX or incorporate it into TPC classes. This workshop brings together academics and practitioners to form a community of practice in UX Pedagogy. By providing evidence-based teaching practices in assignment design, participants will leave with revised assignments or new assignment designs.
