Abstract

This chapter will discuss policy research in school-based counseling in Malaysia, as an example of a Southeast Asian country. The discussion will include brief information about education systems in Southeast Asian countries, education in Malaysia, counseling services in Malaysia, school-based counseling in Malaysia, implications, and future directions.
