Abstract

A phosphomolybdic acid catalysed novel method for the synthesis of 1,2-dihydro-1-aryl-3H-naphth[1,2-e][1,3]oxazin-3-one derivatives by a one-pot, three-component reaction of β-naphthol, aromatic aldehydes and urea in excellent yields is described. © 2011 Copyright (CC) SCS.
