Abstract

The article deals with the problem of preserving the cultural heritage of national minorities of the People’s Republic of China, in particular, the Inner Mongolia Autonomous region. According to the author, one of the ways to successfully solve this problem is to develop a comprehensive program to support and develop Mongolian folklore in University art education. On the example of the activity of teachers and students of the national Academy of arts of the University of Inner Mongolia, the possibility of a significant expansion of the musical and educational space of this region is revealed. Long-term multilevel program the concept of increasing efficiency of the ethnic component in the musical education system of formation and management of national cultural and educational environment, in addition to upgrading the educational process includes research and musical education vectors study of various forms and genres of Mongolian folk music and dance – ethnographic expeditions, international conferences, publication of printed works, organization of folklore competitions and festivals, art projects in museums and libraries, thematic programs, lectures and concerts for students of secondary schools and other categories of the population. As priority measures for the effective use of resources of educational institutions in the region, the author calls the optimal use of research results of leading experts and scientists in the field of Mongolian traditional culture in the educational process, expanding the genre and communicative subject space of training, creating favorable conditions for the introduction of innovative methods, contextual correlation of theoretical information and practical skills, encouraging and supporting student music and folklore groups, active promotion of modern multimedia platforms to promote ethnic projects, motivation to learn their native language. The solution of the abovementioned problems makes it possible to form a comprehensive, pluralistic and long-term mechanism for implementing the current musical and educational model of preserving and developing the culture of ethnic minorities in the region.
