As we enter Volume 3 of Laser Therapy, I think we can be justifiably proud of our accomplishments. Despite early paper flow problems, and the affirmations of the sceptics that papers would not be forthcoming, it must be obvious to the reader that we are getting there, and getting there fast! The quality of papers in Volumes l and 2 has not dropped: perhaps even the opposite is true. Certainly, I think our most severe critic will have to admit that we have aimed for a balance of the clinical and experimental, and got it. We are also conscious of all of the life sciences as potential areas of interest in eliciting the reactions following LLLT on living organisms, and have tried to include offerings from these areas. © 1991, International Phototherapy Association.
