Authors have recently detected two sources of error: in the labelling of SNPs, that lead to a change from 3,096,057 to 3,040,718SNPs; and in the listing of SNPs tested for signs of selection, that lead to changes in the four sets of candidate SNPs. Correcting this and re-analyzing all the implicated data shows no impact on conclusions, including statistical significance when tests were applied or the overall patterns characterized throughout the paper. Thus, the overall findings of our study remain entirely the same. Changes were incorporated in the present version of the article.”
