Design and implementation of ontology-based search algorithm for internal website

Abstract

Searching records in internal website is an important way for people to obtain information, however, accurate and satisfying results cannot be acquired easily with conventional methods. In order to improve the effectiveness of search algorithm, in this paper we adopt ontology technology to the searching process and build up an ontology model for searching. Finally, some corresponding tests were carried out in order to valid the performance of the algorithm. © 2011 Springer-Verlag Berlin Heidelberg.
