Revisiting the oil curse

Abstract

Samuel R. Schubert asks questions about the political and economic scenarios in relation to oil that have led to the expression the 'oil curse'. He suggests that we need to be careful about the results of oil dependence, and above all be prepared for the fall out when oil resources runs out.
