In the United Kingdom, Psila rosae (F.) is widespread and frequently causes serious damage to carrot crops both on farms and in gardens. In some areas, the fly seriously damages parsnips, celery and sometimes parsley. In this revised leaflet, the authors give information on the injuriousness (on all 4 crops), morphology, life history and control (on the farm and in gardens and allotments) of P. rosae.
