Abstract

In this paper we propose a complete system for automatic annotation of tennis video sequences. The method is completely automatic and computationally efficient. The court lines are detected by means of the Hough Transform while the players' positions are extracted looking for those edge pixels whose orientation is different from the lines of the court. Finally, we show some experimental results remarking the system efficiency and classification skills. © Springer-Verlag Berlin Heidelberg 2002.
