Abstract

The International Chamber of Shipping was established in 1948. Its predecessor was the International Shipping Conference founded in 1921 by shipping companies of Australia, Belgium, Canada, Denmark, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, Netherlands, Norway, Spain, Sweden, USA.
