Abstract

We shall introduce and discuss in this chapter the axioms of Zermelo-Fraenkel Set Theory with the Axiom of Choice. Every mathematical science relies upon demonstration rather than argument and opinion. Certain principles, called premises, are granted, and a demonstration is made which resolves everything easily and clearly.
