Abstract

This article deals with the relationship between eras and education, emphasizing the question of whether transparency or identity are necessary and essential among the attributable characteristics to our current time and what education should or should not assume as its own. Therefore, the controversy between the idea of school as scholé (time of stoppage, free time) and the idea of school as preparation for the world of work are at stake.
