Abstract

For hand-eye coordination and intuitive interaction with virtual-reality displays, the projected image of a 3-D cursor in virtual space should correspond to the real position of the 3-D input device that controls it. This paper summarizes some of the issues and algorithms for coordinating the physical and virtual worlds.
