This paper describes the architecture and core ideas of the multi-agent system created by the LTI-USP team which participated in the 2013 edition of the "Multi-Agent Programming Contest" (MAPC). This is the third year of the "Agents on Mars" scenario, in which the competitors must design a team of agents to find and occupy the best zones of a weighted graph. The team was developed using the JaCaMo multi-agent framework and it is an improvement of the system used in the last year contest. © 2013 Springer-Verlag.
