This paper shows the results of the use of geophysical data inversion techniques to develop a tree-dimensional model of the Barreiro Alkaline Complex based on its response to the application of potential methods. The model shows a geologically viable subsurface distribution of physical properties, with a maximum density contrast of 0.45 g/cm 3, and a magnetic susceptibility of 0.235 (SI), and good geometric matching, resulting in a body of about 4.5 km in diameter and a volume greater than 37 km 3, as well as a good correlation between the distribution of physical properties and the geological setting of the Complex.
