Abstract

The present work is an attempt to correlate the variation of I//c vs. strain at high fields with the long-range atomic order parameter. The latter is thought to influence the elastic properties of Nb//3Sn, in particular the phonon anomaly (softening) below 300 K, thus the Young's modulus in this temperature range.
