Abstract

Teachers’ well-being is a crucial prerequisite of high-quality education and training. More specifically, research on teachers’ resilience – the ability to stay engaged and satisfied with the profession despite the highly demanding nature of teaching – is very informative to identify difficulties and resources that mostly impact teachers’ well-being. Based on empirical evidence, this contribution provides an overview of the main risks and protective factors related to teachers’ resilience by specifically focusing on the vocational education and training (VET) teacherVocational education and training (VET)teachers’ resilienceTeachers’ resilience population.
