Case studies of flotation control

Abstract

Experiences of the Research Centre in the development of flotation control systems are presented. Based on these, a general approach to flotation control is described. Case studies are discussed which demonstrate several approaches to flotation control including simple feedback control loops, advanced model-based control strategies and expert systems technology. Future trends are also considered. (P.M.T.)
