Abstract

Growing complexity and number of studies require the application of sophisticated database systems for administration of studies and their associated data. The described software provides a framework for the administration of data from different already performed and new to be performed medical studies. It is intended to facilitate the generation of new data sets either by reusing available data of former studies or by storing data sets within an ongoing clinical trial. Furthermore, the software serves as a storage system for data and results collected within different clinical studies.
