Abstract

The chapters have presented the introduction of non-circular journal bearings and how they be analyzed along with the various work that has been carried out to explore the possible use of such bearings in practical application. The possible use of such bearing profiles may be possible once the design charts for these bearings will be developed, and in order to achieve that, the work may be moved in one of the directions listed below:
