Abstract

Sutami Reservoir is one of the multipurpose reservoirs used in the supply of water. The main problem that occurs is a decrease in water quality caused by sources of pollution from agricultural waste, domestic waste, and industrial waste from the upstream part of the reservoir. This study aims to determine water quality during dry season using DOE-WQI, Pollution Index, Oregon-WQI, and Prati Index with parameters based on BOD, COD, DO, NH3-N, TSS, pH, NO3, and PO4, as well as to calculate the load capacity of reservoir pollution. The results obtained of water quality status using the DOE-WQI, Pollution Index, and Prati Index method is lightly polluted. Using the Oregon-WQI method, showed different results, that is heavily polluted, it was caused by differences in the use of parameters. The trophic status in the dry season of 2016 is 60%-80% Eutrophic. Total-P levels in upstream, middle, and downstream sections were 89,20 mg/m3, 86,733 mg/m3, and 76,667 mg/m3. The pollution load capacity of Sutami Reservoir in the upstream, middle, and downstream sections, are 12,448 mg/m3, 15,291 mg/m3, and 26,894 mg/m3. By comparing the value of Total-P and the pollution load capacity, it shows that Total-P exceed the limit of reservoir's pollution load capacity. Waduk Sutami menjadi salah satu waduk serbaguna yang digunakan dalam penyediaan air baku. Permasalahan utama yang terjadiialah adanya penurunan kualitas air yang disebabkan oleh sumber pencemaran limbah pertanian, limbah domestik, dan limbah industri di bagian hulu waduk. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menentukan kualitas air pada musim kemarau dengan menggunakan metode DOE-WQI, Indeks Pencemaran,Oregon-WQI, dan Prati Index berdasarkan parameter BOD, COD, DO, NH3-N, TSS, pH, NO3, dan PO4, serta untuk menghitung daya tampung beban pencemaranwaduk. Hasil yang didapatkan dari analisis kualitas air dengan menggunakanmetode DOE-WQI,Indeks Pencemaran, danPrati Indexadalah tercemar ringan. Pada metode Oregon-WQI menampilkan hasil yang berbeda yaitu tercemar berat, hal itu disebabkan oleh adanya perbedaan penggunaan parameter. Status trofik di musim kering tahun 2016 mengalami eutrofikasi sebesar 60% - 80% Eutrof. Diketahui kadar Total-P untuk bagian hulu, tengah, dan hilir antara lain 89,20 mg/m3, 86,733 mg/m3, dan 76,667 mg/m3. Besarnya daya tampung beban pencemaran Waduk Sutami pada bagian hulu, tengah, dan hilir yaitu 12,448 mg/m3, 15,291 mg/m3, dan 26,894 mg/m3. Dengan perbandingan kadar Total-P dan nilai daya tampungnya, maka memperlihatkan bahwa kadar Total-P melampaui batas kapasitas tampungan beban pencemaran waduk
