Abstract

Stata is a statistical software package originally developed for biostatistics and epidemiology. It is rather a command-driven program, although the user can choose to perform the analyses by using dialogs in a comprehensive menu. This paper briefly presents some of the features of Stata, including data management, analysis (focusing on linear regression models), and graphics.
