Abstract

This article reports on a case of meningitis due to Cronobacter sakazakii infection in a premature infant (weighing 1.4 kg) in Pennsylvania last April 2016. Highlights of the report focused on the diagnosis of the infant and on the investigation of the quality of medicines including hygiene of human milk given to the infant.
