Abstract

Weeds are one of the significant constraints for crop production worldwide. Actually weeds compete with crops for input resources like; nutrients, water, light and space leading to drastic reduction in yields. Furthermore, weeds act as inhabitants for insect pests and disease causing organisms. Weed managemnt is an integral part part crop production to reduce losses. Integrated weed management (IWM) is a useful and successful strategy for controlling weeds and improving efficiency of weed control techniques.
