Abstract

The dual structure of urban and rural areas has been manifested inch by inch at the advent of booming economy in China. Currently, our inescapable issue is to coordinate the development between urban and rural areas as well as eliminate their contradictions as far as possible. In view of this, this essay thoroughly illustrates the interactive mechanism of agricultural growth and urbanization from economic view, thus makes a conclusion that the two elements are mutually facilitated and restricted. © 2012 Springer-Verlag GmbH.
