Abstract

As explosive growth of private cars population, traditional cars have become a very important part of environment pollution. That is why we need electric vehicles (EVs) to replace the traditional cars. But limited to the development of Smart Grid and the technology of EVs battery pack, EVs need to be charged frequently that reduce the drivers comfort and the efficiency of the travel performance. This paper proposed a scheme which uses the Newton law of cooling to optimize the deployment of the charge stations on the map, the basic demand is to achieve the best quality of service with the least cost. And the result shows that this scheme can achieve great performance. © 2012 Springer-Verlag.
