Abstract

This 544-page book on bacterial fish pathogens contains 11 chapters, written in English. The first chapter is an introduction about the fish pathogens and the last chapter summarizes recognition of emerging conditions, taxonomy and diagnosis, isolation of pathogens, ecology, control measures and the effects of pollution. Remaining chapter topics include: characteristics of the disease and pathogens, isolation and detection of pathogens, diagnosis of various diseases, epizootiology, pathogenicity, and control of infections using various vaccines. The book also contains a bibliography at the end. The users of this book will include researchers in the field of aquaculture, pathology, and marine ecology
