Abstract

Realitionship Between Burnout Factors and Employee Performance at Class 1 Health Office Surabaya. Burnout in the workplace issconsidered to be closely related to the condition of a person's inability to deal with a problem they experience which is often uncontrolled can cause fatigue in workers at the Ministry of Port Health (KKP). Work placement and workload have an effect of 62.4% on employee performance at the Class II Pekanbaru Port Health Office, which means that workload has a partial effectaon employee performance at the Class II Pekanbaru Port Health Office where workload is one of the factors causing incidents burnout at work. This studyauses a quantitativeaapproach. The approach used is Cross Sectional. Sampling technique with Random Sampling totaling 42 employees. The research instrument used a questionnaire and statistical test analysis using Chi Square. The results of this bivariate test show that age has a significant value on performance P = 0.052 ≤ 0.05, marital status on performance P = 0.002 ≤ 0.05, years of service on performancesP = 0.000 ≤ 0.05, personality on performance P = 0.000 ≤ 0.05, workload on performance P=0.000 ≤ 0.05, the role of ambiguity on performance P= 0.001 ≤ 0.05, and social support on performance P= 0.001 ≤ 0.05. That of all the factors that cause burnout that affect theaperformance of employees at the Surabaya Class 1 Port Health Office, all burnout factors have a significant relationship with performance variables.
