Abstract

The cosmic spherules can be found in the modern urban sediments of the industrial city like Ekaterinburg. The experimental study procedures of spherule identification and extraction were developed. For 8 of the spherules studied their cosmic origin was confirmed using optical and electron microscopy observations as well as chemical analysis of their internal texture and inclusions.
