Inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) is a multi-system disease and appropriate patient care has to factor in associated extraintestinal manifestations (EIMs) which can affect almost all other organ systems. These EIMs can occur at disease onset and be the only presenting symptom or they may appear after diagnosis and substantially impact the quality of life. This chapter will describe the more common extraintestinal manifestations in pediatric patients with IBD.
