Abstract

Systems thinking is a perspective that focuses on looking at interdependent relationships between entities in an organization, making visible otherwise hard to see leverage points. Evaluation is an inherent part of designly thinking, even though many practicing UX professionals view evaluation as something that follows "design." These two views are discussed related to understanding how to get more traction for our UX ideas in the existing design processes within our organizations. © 2009 Springer Berlin Heidelberg.
