Abstract

Web Mining is a promising research area which mainly studies how to personalize the Web experience for users. In order to achieve this goal it is fundamental to analyze the user navigations to get relevant informations about their behavior. In this work we consider a database approach based on a graphical representation of both Web sites and user interactions. In particular, we will see how to obtain the graph summarizing a set of user interactions from the graphs of single interactions by adopting the graph transformation technique. © Springer-Verlag 2004.
