This chapter draws upon our experiences of forming a feminist academic collective, called ‘The Res-Sisters’, to reflect upon the affordances and challenges to collective forms of resistance to sexism and other, intersecting inequalities within the neoliberal academy. We present our ‘Manifesta’-a five-point ‘call to arms’ for others to enact collective resistant strategies. We critically reflect upon our engagement with, and action through, these five points. In doing so, the chapter considers the possibilities of living out political commitments to collectivity and care within university cultures of performativity, precarity and competition which seek to individualise and isolate academics.
