Abstract

Air contamination has become a major issue in India. Cities like Delhi, Lucknow, and Agra are suffering from severe air pollution. So to protect people from air pollution is by predicting the concentration of air pollutant in air in future years. In this work, a functional model is built to predict the concentration of air pollutants like SO2, NO2, PM2.5, CO and O3 in the air in Indian cities like Delhi, Agra, Lucknow. We take the meteorological data like temperature, relative humidity, wind speed and direction for the accurate prediction of pollutants.
