Abstract

What I preferred were parties, especially New Year’s celebrations. The house was immense, 13 rooms, it was an old private hotel built by my grandmother’s husband after the communists took everything from us. My great-grandfather, German and noble, owned two entire streets: Bolshaia and Malaia Ekaterinskaia.
