Abstract

Although congenital partial hypodontia is widespread, and a variety of solutions for treating this condition in adolescents have been devised, all have had one or more significant drawbacks. A new treatment option that has recently become available, the Procera Maryland Bridge, appears to deliver excellent esthetics and strength. This article discusses that option and presents a case in which it was used successfully. © 2008, WILEY PERIODICALS, INC.
