Abstract

The fact that increased business efficiency is currently important and intrinsically means that companies are forced to search out reserves related to labor productivity growth and are primarily focused on industrial automation, cost reduction, introduction of information systems intended to monitor changes in parameters and carry out their detailed analysis. These issues are particularly important for industrial enterprises that come very close to the depletion of traditional reserves related to labor productivity growth. As business volumes grow, the effect of such changes also tends to increase. Using the example of several large Russian companies, this article describes the potential of labor productivity growth by introducing IT technologies that, for example, enable enterprises to manage labor resources more effectively. This area of activity can be implemented within HR analytics. There is a hypothesis that the increased application of IT technologies to analyze data within the company and make management decisions will lead to including all necessary data not only about human resources, but also about people directly or indirectly associated with the company, in these processes. The fact that the recommendations in question are rather simple makes it possible to use their potential for other organizations as well, irrespective of their sectorial affiliation and business volume.
