Abstract

The obvious disadvantage of using mobile agent based applications is the concern that they will introduce vulnerability into the network. Since conventional security techniques did not address those security threats caused, an urgent need is to modify standard security models. This paper presents an enhanced security model in an attempt to more efficiently utilize its new mechanism to guarantee an acceptable security level of the mobile agent based applications, the model based system can react actively to attacks without disturbing the running mobile agent applications. The proposed model equipped with the function that can also bewilder attackers though redirecting and spreading network flows to avoid someone to reach target. © Springer-Verlag 2003.
