Design and development of E-learning virtual learning system based on VRML and java

Abstract

This paper proposes a novel e-learning hypothesized learning platform based on VRML-Java. It describes the characteristics and complementary of VRML and Java language and elaborates the architecture of the virtual learning system. Furthermore it presents a method how to use VRML to create virtual learning system. Finally this paper introduces the interaction between VRML and Java in the virtual reality system. © 2012 Springer-Verlag GmbH.
