Abstract

There are few alternatives to generate skills in a company’s staff other than through training with a speaker. Due to this lack of solutions, the option of creating a metaverse that facilitates company workers to access specific skills through playful gamification techniques and activities is proposed. In carrying out the work, a modern three-dimensional architectural design was used, complemented by the Legos Serious Play framework for designing gamification activities and with the Open Simulator platform for the development of the virtual world. With the above, a virtual world is implemented to carry out gamification activities, which is finally validated and evaluated to verify the results. One of the most relevant results observed is the degree of comfort that can be seen in carrying out gamification activities within the platform; it is possible to observe a lot of relaxation and interaction between workers with different positions in the organizations. Complementing gamification activities to be executed in an immersive way in a virtual world platform is entirely viable and has much potential as a powerful tool for corporate use and not only education; its use can be focused on different areas of a business company, especially in human resources.
