Abstract

This paper details a Dublin Core Application Profile defined for cataloguing musical resources described within the European eContentPlus project Variazioni. The metadata model is based on FRBR and has been formalised with DC-Text and implemented in an available web portal where users and music institutions can catalogue their musical assets in a collaborative way. © 2009 Springer-Verlag Berlin Heidelberg.
