Abstract

Material management is an important content of chemical piping engineering project management. The paper discusses the material management characteristics of the large-scale chemical piping engineering, supported by the modern information technology; it built the large-scale chemical piping engineering material integrated control and management model using integrated management. Then the method of modeling has been furthered studied. Finally, bonded with the really case, the actual application of this model in engineering project has been analyzed. The material integrated management model based on information integrated technology realized the all-life-cycle material management of piping engineering project, which provided a useful construction method and ideals for the large-scale engineering material integrated management. © 2012 Springer-Verlag GmbH.
