Abstract

Discusses the practice of sodomy and homoeroticism among the African slave population of the city of Cartagena in the Spanish colony of New Granada during the 17th and 18th centuries. Sodomy was usually associated with the charge of witchcraft and tried by the Inquisition. (English)
