ANALISIS PERANAN USAHA (UNIT KOPERASI) PERTANIAN TERHADAP PENINGKATAN PENDAPATAN MASYARAKAT DI DISTRIK NAMBLONG KABUPATEN JAYAPURA

Abstract

The aims of this study are (1) to analyze the development of agricultural businesses (cooperative units) in Namblong district, Jayapura Regency. (2) to Analyze the constraints and benefits of the agriculture business world in increasing the people's income in the study area. The method that used to complete the objectives was descriptive statistics, income analysis, and analysis of benefits and constraints. The age of members group in the range of 15 - 65 years. The most respondent at the research location was 36 to 45 years old (45,45%). A total of 54 respondents have completed the level of education at the senior high school/vocational school level or as much as 81.82%.This condition shows that the majority of respondents have completed the education according to the Government's compulsory education program.The range of dependents to be borne by respondents was 3 to 12 people. From the results of the field study, 92% had dependents in the family of 3 to 5 people. The income level was ranging from no income to an income of 10 Million per month or once a harvest. The obstacle experienced by members of the cooperative is the difficulty of sending their children to the college level, apart from that housing and vehicle facilities are also not available to every member,this situation is due to the fluctuations in the prices of agricultural and plantation products.
