Abstract

The article examine the efficiency of the Common Core State Standards (CCSS) of the U.S. in countering the educational inequity. Topics discussed include role of Nationalized standards in solving educational mediocrity, need of reforms for providing more equitable education opportunities in the country, and the U.S. education ranking on international assessments.
