Abstract

Within the last twenty years, critical scholarship has emerged that highlights the importance of addressing issues of race, culture and social justice in our classrooms with future teachers (Ladson-Billings, 2005; Nieto, 2010; Marx & Pennington, 2003; Gay & Kirkland, 2003).
